    Surface Preperation

    Preparing old or new surfaces requires high-performance grinding and effective dust-control equipment to ensure a clean, sound substrate for resin flooring. Powerful grinders remove coatings, laitance and contaminants while creating the correct profile for adhesion; integrated dust extraction protects workers and prevents airborne contamination.

    Prime

    In the majority of incidences a DPM (damp proof membrane) resin primer is used to prevent moisture rising from the substrate and to promote adhesion of subsequent resin coatings. It seals porous surfaces, reducing the risk of blistering or bond failure, and ensures a consistent, high-performance finish.

Set of Mobland

Elstree studios

Res-Worx completed a resin floor for the set of the hit TV series Mobland. This required precise preparation, rapid curing systems and close coordination with the production schedule to minimise downtime. We used a custom quartz blend to achieve the desired results, combining colour variation and texture for an authentic stone-like finish. The final floor delivers long-lasting performance, enhanced grip and an attractive, low-maintenance surface suited to both commercial and residential environments.
